As a designer at Team17 I worked on the external side of the company. This involved working with external third party developers on a variety of titles to help them achieve their visions. A large part of my responsibility was building up a good relationship with the developers to ensure they could trust us to help them with their project.

A large chunk of my time was spent on consultancy projects. This involved playing through and providing constructive feedback to developers on monthly milestone builds. The reports would focus on all aspects of design, with each individual report trying to remain focused on one aspects for the developers to easily digest and work on. These were followed up with meetings with developers to help them understand the feedback alongside discussing ideas.
Projects: Sunday Gold, Ship of Fools, Moving Out 2, and Gord.

Other projects were undertaken as co-development opportunities. For this I worked closely with the developers on a daily basis to help them with designs to achieve their goals. In this style of working I worked hard to ensure the developers saw me as a member of their own team. My one co-development project involved helping to design and improve systems during early access that were already outlined to the games community in a roadmap.
Projects: Honey I Joined a Cult.
